The Coralife BioCube NEW STYLE Protein Skimmer (V2) is an improvement over the old skimmer that required an airstone and air pump. This skimmer is a more traditional skimmer with a water pump and needle wheel impeller.
Features:
This protein skimmer fits conveniently into built-in filtration system in the back of the Oceanic & Coralife BioCubes. This includes the older Oceanic and Coralife Size 29 BioCubes and the newer Coralife Size 16 & Size 32 LED BioCube Aquariums. NOTE: with the BioCube 16, you will need to put the Skimmer in the middle chamber (which means you will need to remove the media basket & drip tray). It will not fit the size 14 BioCubes.
