Shipping & Returns Policy
Live Animals (Fish, Invertebrates, Corals):
- We ship livestock Monday–Wednesdayto avoid weekend delays.
- All live shipments are sent via overnight delivery with insulated packaging and heat or cold packs as needed.
- We require someone to be present at the time of delivery.
- Live Arrival Guarantee applies only if the package is received on the first delivery attempt and reported within 2 hours with photographic evidence.
- Please note:Live fish are not quarantined at The Fish Kingdom and are shipped directly from our distributor to the customer. It is the buyer’s responsibility to properly quarantine all livestock upon arrival to ensure the health and safety of their existing aquarium inhabitants.
Dry Goods & Supplies:
- Dry goods (tanks, food, décor, filters, etc.) are shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx within 2–3 business days of purchase.
- You’ll receive tracking information via email once your order ships.
Returns & Refunds Policy
Livestock Returns:
- Due to the delicate nature of live animals, livestock purchases are non-returnable.
- If there’s a problem with your order (DOA, wrong item), contact us within 2 hours of delivery with photos, and we’ll issue a refund or store credit as per our Livestock Guarantee.
Dry Goods:
- Dry goods can be returned within 14 days of purchase if unused and in original packaging.
- Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the item was damaged or incorrect.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the item is received and inspected.
Special Orders:
- Special-order items are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Live Animal Policy – The Fish Kingdom
At The Fish Kingdom, we take the health and safety of aquatic life seriously and strive to provide the best possible experience for our customers when purchasing live fish, invertebrates, and corals. Please review the following policy carefully before placing a live animal order:
🐠 Shipping & Handling
- All live animals are shipped overnight Monday through Wednesday to minimize transit time and reduce stress on the livestock.
- Packaging includes insulated boxes with heat or cold packs as needed to ensure optimal temperature control during transport.
- Customers will receive tracking information and are required to be available at the time of delivery to ensure the animals are not left unattended.
⚠️ No Quarantine Provided
- We do not quarantine live fish, invertebrates, or corals prior to shipment.
- Livestock is shipped directly from our trusted distributors to the customer to minimize stress and handling.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to properly quarantine all livestock upon arrival before introducing them into a display or community aquarium.
- We strongly encourage customers to establish a dedicated quarantine system to monitor for potential diseases or parasites and to allow the animals time to acclimate in a controlled environment.
💡 Live Arrival Guarantee
- We offer a Live Arrival Guarantee for all shipped livestock, provided the following conditions are met:
- The package is received on the first delivery attempt.
- Photographic evidence of any dead-on-arrival (DOA) livestock is submitted to Sales@thefishkingdom.com within 2 hours of delivery.
- The shipping address must be correct and a person must be available to accept the package at the time of delivery.
🚫 Non-Refundable Items
- Live animals are non-returnable and non-refundable except in the case of a verified DOA claim.
- All DOA claims will be evaluated, and store credit or a replacement (when available) may be issued at our discretion.
